Constitutional Monarchy. I never got this concept, no matter how many times mum tried to explain it. This is just NOT something the average high school senior should have to remember at the drop of a hat. So I wrote it all down, and I guess it makes a little more sense now.

I know what a constitution is in theory. It tells us how our government works, our rights as citizens and, in effect, what laws our government can and can't pass. I also know what a monarchy is. It's a type of government that is ruled by an inherrited or elected monarch (king, queen, etc), and in essence is one of those things the New England colonies should have kept. Sa Majesté Elizabeth Deux, par la grâce de Dieu, Reine du Royaume-Uni, du Canada et de ses autres royaumes et territoires, Chef du Commonwealth, Défenseur de la Foi is our current monarch, or Prime Minister is Le très honorable Stephen Harper.
So a constitutional monarchy means we've got rights, but we've still got a queen and "God Save the Queen" is still just as important as "O Canada" to us. I liked living in Louisiana better, all I had to know there was that Quebecois terms may not translate to the Cajuns very well.

Happy birthday to me! I'm seventeen years old today, and I already got lager from Shadou's buddy Teddy. Tell him I said thanks, eh?

Less than three weeks until my birthday, and I'm tired of people asking me what I want. I'm going to be a 17 year old boy; I want porn, hopefully of the male-on-male variety given my preference, and I want a six-pack of lager. And I don't see either happening since I'm not old enough to be gifted porn, or drink alcohol.


Though slash fic/art of the non-porn grade would still be nice. *hinthintnudgenudge*

Nikolaos is totally appropriate right now. Partly because Shadou made the icon, and mostly because she's almost as crazy as we are.

Is it just me, or is DH more like some badly written fanfiction than a cannon novel?

All I needed was Draco wanking Harry off, or vice versa, and I'd have thrown the book out the window. If I want oddly written half-assed dark fantasy I pick up a Laurell K. Hamilton novel, because then I get badly written sex scenes to laugh at. And that epilogue! What the fuck was THAT about, eh?

xbadkatx and I are thinking about starting a fanfic100 type asylum here, only using an emotions table we ganked from the bodyandsoul100 community over on LJ. Just out of curiousity, would anyone actually join it if we did?


Because our other idea is...well, let's just say we're a little more insane than InsaneJournal when left to our own thoughts.
